Points of interest between Illinois and Florida

I have a friend that is getting married in March '09 and wants to drive from central Illinois to south Florida making stops along the way.

Any points of interest you guys would recommend. ...and it needs to be wheelshair accessible

sincere responses appreciated but not expected

Don't even need to leave Illinois. Just go hang out at Boner's Sports Bar on the ground floor of the Hilton Springfield....you won't want to leave:tro:
