I'd love for both to go.

Just as long as Pletcher doesn't send CQ! :p
I don't need to burn any more money on that little guy.

I know, but in today's DRF it said Pletcher was considering both CQ and RTR.
That can't be right. I didn't see the Preakness replay, but looked like he had no excuses, just not enough horse to get involved.

And not that it matters, but for the Belmont, would Rags and CQ be racing as a single entry, or would they be split up?

Danzig, Turkish Trist, Turkoman, Dosage Figures, Conduit Mare figures, Bris numbers, your best guess, my best guess.......

Hard Spun has the pedigree to get 12 furlongs. In fact his pedigree is so distance favoring that he should have a distinct advantage over others as we increase the distance.

The other factor that determines distance capabilities is Running Style. You can't make a middle move and win a top race past a mile and a sixteenth. You can win the Belmont Stakes from the front, but Hard Spun/Pino will have to rate the pace.
I never assume a horse/jockey is going to learn a new trick, when facing a new challenge, but it happens once in a blue moon.
