Good tightener, Let's see where Ellis runs him next with Buzzards bay in the same barn.

He's already said where he's running him next. If DM comes out of the race alright, he will come back in the $300,000 Pat O'Brien which is a 7 furlong race at Del Mar on Aug 20th.

I doubt Ron Ellis cares very much that he lost the race. It was a nice race off that kind fo layoff. Bigger things down the road. Anyone who bet him to win needs their head examined.

The only reason that they would have liked to win is because he was still undefeated and they thought he might be able to stay undefeated for a long time. I agree with you that he ran well. I think he will get a lot out of the race. With regard to whether he was worth a bet or not, I wouldn't have bet him at 2-5. However, if Areyoutalkintome was in the race and if DM would have been even-money, I would have definitely bet DM at even-money. I doubt he would have been even-money. He would have probably been 4-5. I would have considered betting him at 4-5. At 3-5 I would not have bet him.
