I'm guessing there must be such a thing as a middle ankle sprain as we have proof of high and low ones. But I've yet to see a report of a middle ankle sprain. What happened to the continuous outbreak of staph infections in Berea? Did they finally start cleaning in there since Holmgren showed up?

But you know,HC...pro sports and their recent refusal to detail an injury no matter who the player, is getting ridiculous; they are so nebulous in their descriptions it gets crazy.

I can see a HC of a fb team ouside a funeral home. His off. tackle star died.A reporter says----he says,"HC so and so....so sorry your star off. tackle has passed away."

HC.....Well, I really can't comment on that one.Whether he's dead or not is open to conjecture.I haven't talked to the coroner--I mean doctor yet...so we'll just have to wait and see if he can play this Sunday.

The similarities between CC and that guy who recently made a decision are incredible. Superior regular season players who just can't quite carry it over to the big time. They'll occasionally have a moment in post season but can't sustain it. To be fair CC actually pitched really well in post season last year, but was terrible in 2007, was beyond horrific for the Brewers in 2008 and has pitched two poor games this year but got bailed out twice by the Yankees O. And that is exactly the motive of the south Beach guy...he needed to go to a place where he could get bailed out in the post season. CC getting a ring didn't really bother me....the other guy getting one will

It's early, but the wheels are beginning to fall off Michigan State.
