Default Time for a "Feel Sorry For Me" Thread after

the weekends racing. All I am gonna say is this. One glance just now at my Win/Lost column on my winticket account tells the tale of the day.

All this - and none of this +

I got enough left to play a trifecta with Spun Sugar on top. The Spa flat smoked my rear off today, smoked. Then it was not happy with that and came back and spanked me.

Ugly day, ugly.

How did everyone else do? Any good stories? Any bad ones like mine?

Curt,
If you look at Kev's contest, you'll see that both of us picked Spun Sugar.
Sorry you got spanked.
Just my two pennies...sometimes a bet can be for win. If you feel good about one, no need to get fancy if you know what I mean.

Was thinking of going today but the heat & humidity combined with the lack of compelling races led me to stay home. Looking forward to Sword Dancer weekend.

Sorry you had a tough day early Curt but glad Spun Sugar's win makes you happy . Was a tough weekend for me at Toga just mainly dry capping but I came up short both days after a good Weds/Thurs/Fri. Been saving the money for WV Derby Day next Sunday but I need to get my confidence up a bit this week!!! If the confidence aint there, then horses just arent gonna come in like I want em...

What really bites me on this day is that I was up early, albeit after last night capping. Probably had 3, maybe 4 hours vested in the card. Saratoga is tough, tough. No biggie, may play next weekend, may take it off and do something else.

Do something else, get outside and enjoy summer while its here. Winter is too long where you and I live (Ohio & NY).

Hours vested in a card does not equate with success. I've had some of my best days not even having a form and some of my worst pondering over a form for 3-4 hours.

I had Baletto in in the Race of the day contest; does that count? Or not, because of no money on the line.
