2/12 (AQU 10th): Jello Shot
In the Big A nightcap 2/12 ($7,500/N2L), Pat Kelly's JELLO SHOT was likely best at 9-1, but encountered difficulty that compromised his chances. Attempting to rally from the back of the pack, Jello Shot lost significant ground off the turn when CC Lopez was forced 6-7 wide in response to a near-spill. Once straightened, he closed on the leaders compellingly, falling short at the wire by a diminishing length. The chart and comment ('6w top lane, good kick') doesn't reflect the situation that helped prevent his winning the race.
