the announcers said Ryan calls the plays in the 2 min. offense. makes you wonder who was play calling the first 56 min????

i'd like to see the qb for usf or hawaii win the heisman.

I'm guessing Mortimer would say Brian Hartline or James Laurinaitis are the only obvious choices.

Not so....strange typer.

Dan Herron.

Who only won the Scout Team Off Player of the Week award...AAAAND the Scout Team Special Teams Player of the Week.

And let me tell Mr. Shell something.....that fool of a qb threw what amounted to an off balanced Hail Mary with around 15 seconds to go on 3rd down with the ball on the VT 24 and losing by 3 points.

Oh it fell in....but not the brightest thing I have ever seen carried out in football.

He's perfect for the Heisman. Just look at the long list of players who failed in the NFL.

Omg I love awards!!

matt ryan wins because Brohm has 4 loses, McFadden's team sucks, Hart has been hurt and lost to App State, Woodsen from KY wont win because his team as 2 loses, Booty has been hurt, the QB from Hawaii is a system QB and no one is fooled. Rice wont win. Slaton and White may have a shot if they (W.V) wins the Big East and whatever bowl they go to.

Hardly a hail mary as VT went into the tank and forgot to guard a guy in the end zone (shades of Louisville)...he may not be Tom Brady but he rescued me from sure disaster which is a Heisman award feat in itself.

Depends on your version of failed ...as he is at least as good as Tavariasis Jackson who gets PAID to play...which is a huge success story in itself.

The best college player is Glen Dorsey but since no one seems to know what the award is supposed to be for other than the the best player (or most hyped) on one of the best teams with few losses unless he plays a position other than QB, RB or WR.

dorsey is an awesome player, but voters always go for the offensive players.

mcfadden is good, but his surroundings do him in. guess he should have gone to a good team, with a good coach, instead of that moron.
