If he'd nominated to the G1 Turf race next week I might be interested but he didn't. Still definitely worth a try down the line since it will be his only chance to go 12 furlongs again.

This is the right move for him with the number of distance races run on the turf. . .

He will not run on the turf until he has conclusively shown that he can't compete at a high level on the dirt.

A lot of horses work on the turf. It doesn't mean they are going to race on it.

Will that mean we have to get to the track before the races on those days in Saratoga?

Perhaps.

Can you believe my younger brother was lame enough to get married in late July?

When I was told "Dave's wedding is going to be sometime in late July" I was going to boycott it....if it was during opening week. Turns out it's July 23rd, so I'm safe.

He made me the best man---which I guess means I will be giving a speech. Big mistake on his part.

You better make Opening Day. I don't know how much longer I can hold out on seeing your Mom again.

Probably only because he would give DrugS a beating.

If it wasn't for that ferocious lion standing behind you on Caroline Street, Eibar Coa's agent would have beaten you senseless for all to see.

I sensed the fear in his eyes knowing you were there to protect me.
