I was trying to look at the horses with races/wins over the Churchill track out of the top 20+ points ranked horses. Obviously the West Coasters aren't as likely to've even run there, but anyway, I was curious. Accidentally deleted some of what I put together so I might've left something off, but is this basically it? (Chitu of course would technically move in there if he goes in the Derby Trial and isn't officially out of the Derby.)

Ride On Curlin - CD stakes placed; G3 4th
Tapiture - CD G2W KY Jockey Club
Ring Weekend - CD maiden placing
Harry's Holiday - CD maiden winner
Commanding Curve - CD maiden winner

Steve, are you coming to L'ville? is there anyone here that can tell me how the workouts are going/looking or is there a website that has the videos? The reason i ask is that i have found it to be helpful in looking and choosing horses for both races. I know it didn't take a genius to find barbaro and street sense but i was impressed with the way both horses worked before the race along with the way that animal kingdom ran on track. I know that the track will change come race day but its just something that i like to do/watch. Anyone with any info would be awesome. thanks.

I think they were on Churchill's website last year. Racing form's Mike Welsch always discusses them also, but not sure whether that is still free or not or has become part of DRF+ which they charge for. Looks like Steve has him on ATR today.

What's the point of comparing raw times? Every track plays differently.

just a 2 second observation....with 20 horses one bump, bad trip, or getting post #1, etc... could throw it all out the window.

I saw someone post raw times on another forum and by doing the calculations they would have had cali chrome beating ring weekend by 50 lengths...lol raw times

Baffert unable to convince Susan Chu to pass Derby, so Chitu will SCR from Trial and run adding significantly to the already racey pace.

Not the news the Dallas Stewart & Commanding Curve wanted to hear..
