After a very tough series of health challenges, Billy Turner, 81, passed yesterday afternoon.

He leaves a legacy of great horsemanship and accomplishment with Seattle Slew as well as Gaviola, Punch Line, Pok-Ta-Pok, Czaravich, and more. The Slew story gets complex after the Belmont of course.

Condolences to Pat and all his friends and admirers.
