Great pic!
Yes, Kitisan Black is a serious contender too as well as Albert and maybe even Gold Actor.

I really want to use my favorites here but man... think I have to go with Albert.

In the comments from connections which I am sure you've read Mr. Hashiguchi says all he wants is for One and Only to make a comeback. Yeah really!

Soooo I am thinking I might face reality and admit this is not the proper distance for Lovely Day, that I might be wise to take into account the condition comment by Mr. Yokoyama re Kitasan Black , admit that I probably did get lucky with the VERY good Marialite... Lia Fail might be a star in the making but that course... hmmm..(.is the one win at Chukyo enough to tackle Nakayama?) ... and reluctantly use Albert in the top spot (Kitasan Black underneath).

Morning line...

Will edit in my play and I think I shall not do much. Will be thrilled for whoever wins and hope YOU hit it SS! Thank you Gold Ship, for the fine memories. Safe home.

edit - So far I have only done my standard (albeit ridiculous) saver on my boy, One and Only. Why does he torture me so?

Trying to pit together a tri but nothing feels right so I am doing an exacta with Albert, Marialite and Kitasan Black on top and leaving it at that. A great field... exciting stuff. Hope you hit it SS, Ed, Coachie, Kitan... any of your guys playing tonight.

Yeah sometimes you just wonder why jockeys are thinking the way they do... I am being kind here.

Re the Tokyo Daishoten (on Tuesday)... it would be nice to see Hokko Tarumae win it for the 3rd straight year.

(Safe home to the old warrior, Wonder Acute ).

Satono Diamond - watch out for this 3 year old this year. By Deep Impact of course. Here's his 2016 debut and 3rd career start. He's number 9.

Duramente is scheduled to return this weekend in the grade 2 Nakayama Kinen. If all goes well they want to go the Dubai Sheema after that and then point to the Arc.

Makahiki #11 and Leontes #10 in the G2 Yahoi Sho which is a Guineas prep. Great race. This is setting up to be an awesome year for the 3 year olds.

Hey SS you around? So I'm playing my boy One and Only who continually lets me down (remember the Japan Cup lol?) but I figure he has to remember how GOOD he is one of these days and what with that moron on his back haha... God I hate Take.

Anyway any thoughts on the Takamatsunomiya Kinen? I have only just now realized it's tonight so will probably pass BUT I hope you nail it my friend (and that you're having an awesome morning w/ Dubai). (edit okay thinking about playing it... we shall see).

Go, One and Only (oh be quiet).

Hokko looks good but I'm going with my boy from HK in the Cup.

edit - Hope you had Lani and Real Steel!

pretty great night for the Japanese contingent. could've been an amazing night if Duramente hadn't had the shoe problem, not having a shoe on his front right . not sure if he would've won but he ran very well in spite of of his problems. Kudos to Real Steel and Lani

Barrier draw for the Oka Sho. Can anyone beat speedball Major Emblem? maybe Sinhalite?

Exciting race! When they showed the slow motion finish I really thought Jeweler and Sinhalite had dead heated.

The Satsuka Sho could be epic. Potentially best looking group of 3 year olds I've seen. Satono Diamond, Makahiki and Leontes might all end up being superstars. Air Spinel and Lord Quest look really good too.
