how would our girl have made out today? my untrained eyes say second again, 1 length back.

A bit heartbreaking, and I sure hope this result serves as a lesson for the "aggressive spot" yappers:

http://www.drf.com/drfPDFChartRacesI...=20070623&RN=5

30-1 shot wins on the lead in splits that Sumwon would have been happy to stalk close up... :22.4, :46.0, 1:10.2, 1:35.0...

The "unbeatable" 3-5 Pletcher miss an uninvolved fourth, 15 lengths back... Would have been tough to keep SWLY out of the money in this..

It is too bad she did not get in this one, she would have had a real good shot.

I agree with all the posts. Chuck had found a good spot for her, but the right decision was made not to ship if she wasn't up to par. As Steve said it was disappointing nonetheless.

Keep checking those condition books Chuck and Steve, you'll find another black type race for her
