Default Jump Start

had his first winner last night at Canterbury Downs - the filly's name is Asian Wind and she won by 2 1/2 lengths.

This colt looked like a stallion even as a two year old; I thought he had the goods to be a force in the Triple Crown...but he broke down in the BC Juvy and only his class pulled him through (according to his connections, since it was a severe injury)Hopefully this is the first of many winners from Jump Start - he's a beautiful horse

Ellen Parker, pedigree expert, contends it is not a good idea to inbreed Secretariat. It results in a large horse with not enough bone to sustain it. Jump Start is 3x4 Secretariat.

Crossing Secretariat to his 1/2 brother Sir Gaylord is her recommendation.

I believe he broke his maiden at Churchill Downs, then won the Saratoga Special............a real shame about his injury, but at least he survived to be a stallion.

I'm glad to hear that, Cunningham, and I wish you the best of luck with your foal. Is it a colt or filly? I'll be rooting for him/her either way!
