I thought the synth was to take wear and tear off Turf during summer and fall and be used for Off the Turf races during championship meet. Maybe someone in the know could get some info on why on a big Saturday they do this.
Having said that I do not hate the surface as I thought I would. Much rather see Off Turf races go to synth than a Sloppy track. Field mostly stays in tact. I wouldn't be against a Turf race coming off after start of Pic-X NOT becoming an ALL when moved to Tapeta.
