Are there unraced American Pharoah colts that are being hyped up behind the scenes? Not sure there is a single colt that I would currently put in my Derby top 20 sired by him...at least, that Iím aware of.

I don't think so. I read it like @moses did.

You were both right. Who does he possibly have that can win the Derby?

Ok good. I wasnít sure if horses like American Phenom and Best Company were being talked about by insiders. Still, with no identifiable contender for the Derby, I wouldnít be surprised to see him get a lot of money bet on him.

Bet unavailable up here in the Great White North
I would have taken #18 Speightstown who is going to be
good value. Most won't take him because of the distance, but he does
have a couple who are runners. Halo Again is 2 for 2 won at CD then
won a stakes at Woodbine going two turns 1 1/8 good connections too...
so a mythical $100 for me.

Iíve really only got 3 horses Iím interested in betting on.

Green Light Go - If he grows into his frame, he could be a seriously dangerous horse. Early speed, hasnít taken lasix yet (not sure if any plans to start him on it), and nice pedigree especially on the dam side. Looking for 50-1 or higher.

Independence Hall - If Tiz the Law wins the Kentucky Jockey Club then maybe weíll see a bunch of money on him and itíll create some value for Independence Hall. Looking for 18-1 or higher.

Structor - This is more of a wildcard but if I can get 40-1 or higher on him, Iíll place a wager. I donít think that happens so I probably wonít make the wager.

Green Light Go is interesting. There is also an argument that the rail wasn't a great place to be on Champagne day, so that effort may be much better than it appears.

Seeing Green Light Go at 75-1 at William Hill. Much shorter than that overseas, strangely. Will get some of that when I'm in Vegas next.

Geeze. Heís dropped to 40-1 in this pool. And Tiz the Law down to 8-1. Iím guessing most people wait until tomorrow to bet so weíll see how it all plays out.
