EVG Beyers have finally been posted on DRF. Sunbean ran 99 and took care of open company business. May breakout from La-bred ranks now. Hentai gave phenomenal performance. Was most visually impressive turf sprint I have ever seen live. Hentai blazed from gate to wire, 98 BSF. Hope connections shoot for higher target this summer.
Got an additional treat when I finally met Don Stevens. He and I have exchanged emails since 2006 Delta Jackpot and never connected there. We had very nice chat prior to his satellite radio gig starting. Boyd Gaming has definitely moved bar much higher here. I will attend again. Call me zealot! or homer, but Delta Jackpot, LaD Super Derby, and potentially this new EVG card offer great live days of racing for people that will never venture to Churchill, Saratoga, or Del Mar. Super Derby has still produced more Breeders Cup Classic winners than any other race. Jackpot has given us Big Drama & Goldencents. Could we see Hentai coming down the hill in late October?
