I'm so confused... is Bauer running in the Cup at this point?

Bear Hero is running in which race?

Help!

Happy Derby Day!

Trying to figure out tonight...

Flemington R4
6/1/2,3,5,10
(... and not just because he's a HK Raider... he's pretty damned good).

R5... good luck to Efficient, who I love and to Wall Street who I hope is doing better today!

Sentiment aside and ummm is Precedence running in the Cup on Tuesday cause i do think he's due for a huge win - right (?)... I'll absolutely, positively take Foreteller here.

R6 and yes he is at 1/1 (the 1 of course) and i do like the 6, Perfect Punch, but Sabrage is my one and only Derby boy so that's my grand play of the evening.

My tri is... 4/1/6,7,10,12,13 (had to cut one and the 5 was it so just sayin'...)

R7...NO ONE beats Ms. Joyous but might be worth a little to use 2,7,8,9,12,13 somewhere... still pondering this one.

R8...huge Black Piranha fan... I just don't even want to play this. Small win bet for sentiment sake and that's it.

R9... TT wins it.

Might come back to edit a few of these but my Derby boy and tri stands damnit!

Good luck if you're playing tonight!

This is a redboard, but as I perused the PPs and pedigrees, I gravitated to Sangster as the horses who was most likely to win the Derby if Manawanui didn't stay, which I didn't think he would. Did I bet? No, of course not. I'm such an idiot.

(One thing I liked about the pedigree is that he has Affirmed as second damsire. Affirmed was a good sire of runners but not of sales yearlings, so he never got the respect he deserved. Sangster also has Dancer's Image, Nodouble, and Hold Your Peace in his background, other horses who did better than most people think.)

That's awesome, Ann.

(Hi, Jaripeo).

Anyone see the parade? Was Might and Power there? Who else???

Precedence to win the Cup tonight and I think I'll just keep it simple and do $30. to win and leave it at that since I don't have time.

Come home safe and happy Melbourne Cup Day everyone!!!

edit - Okay I did $30 to win and $10 to place on him and one exacta.. Precedence, Saptapadi, Lucas Cranach, Hawk Island, Red Cadeaux and Jukebox Jury over Dunaden (yes I am leaving off American) for $2. and that's it.

Well I wish it had gone the other way but cheers to the winner for a great finish.

I love Precedence though and he WILL win the big one one of these days.

A fantastic race regardless of my dwindling tvg account.

Great race! It turned everyone in my office into racing fans for about half an hour. They loved it! It was amazing.

Sandown... sorting through who I'm gonna use.

R2 Disputes / Combat Kitty and You Can Dance

Doubtful Jack, Parables, Screan and Masthead boxed up somehow!

R5, huge fan of a couple here (Here De Angels, Jungle Ruler). I think it'll be a huge upset with either Sistine Angel or Rockpecker over Under the Eiffel.

R6, as I already said, Manighar

R7, I don't know if I should try to beat Galah. I'll use Highly Recommended and Mental just not sure of the order yet.

(Oh yeah lest I forget good luck to Mentality tonight. Oh an Mustard who hasn't been better than 8th in his last 5 starts. Isn't it time to give him a new career?)

R8, Ginga Dude/Platinum Passion

R9, Divorces / something Belle (brain melting)

Good luck if you're playing tonight!

edit - Americain wins, hit a few tiny things but nothing great.

Aaah well...
