Unique approach to the Derby for Ring Weekend. Can't say I'm a fan of this as if successful, will generate a glut of crappy overnight tuneups next year. As if they don't get tested enough or something.

Unless there are points involved, only horses that had won a qualifier (like Ring Weekend) would be using this type of stop. And you would think that if Ring Weekend runs well in Derby, Churchill might put some points onto the race. Not 100-40-20-10, but maybe the Lexington level? Let's see if Calder is running next year first of all, but kudos to Mike Anifantis for getting a Derby horse in the first running of this..

Motion gets them ready and West Point might have2 in the derby
I'm look forward to a solid performance and if ring navigates this deep heavy track with ease those at Churchill best be on their game
