Default SAT - Gulfstream Park (Rainbow/PK5/PK4)

Gulfstream Park - $1.4 Million Rainbow 6 Carryover

POST SCRATCHES - FAST/ FIRM

R8 - Md 12.5k

#7 Somewhatoptimistic (8-1) - J/T high % and the slight cut back to 6F helps.
#9 Flirty (5-2) - Huge drop after taking money versus better for Pletcher. 3RD
#14 Written (9-2) - Closer looks to benefit from the cheap speed that's lined up. 4TH
#10 Herecomestheghost (30-1) - Expecting some speed and hold on for a minor slice.

R9 - Clm 16k (Turf 8,5F)

#9 Ray's the Bar (GB) (5-1) - Currently in good form and has the back class to end of being a bargain in this spot.
#4 Spin Cycle (7-2) - Returns to the grass after shipping in from New York and latest turf spins have been bullets. Live.
#3 Ousby (3-1) - More than capable at this level and I. Ortiz just adds to the appeal. WON $8.60
#5 Enough Is Enough (12-1) - Definitely eligible to wake up on return to grass and drop. 4TH

R10 - MSW 50k

#5 Bail Out (5-1 ) - Shug 1ster draws beautifully and latest works indicate he's ready tor fire.
#7 Ruler of the Nile (3-1) - $1 Million purchase shows a solid string of works for Pletcher. Logical, but keep an eye on the board for clues.
#13 Ark in the Dark (12-1) - Breen 1ster will probably be sent form the outside draw by Juarez. Don't discount chances. 4TH
#8 Candygram (6-1) - Another 1ster that is well meant from respectable debut barn.

R11 - Clm 16k N3L (Turf 7.5F)

#3 Just the Facts (10-1) - BEST BET - Makes first start for sneaking good barn, huge upgrade in the saddle with J. Ortiz, and can't ask for a better post. 3RD
#2 Archvillian (6-1) - Versatile runner has to be taken seriously on the drop and inside draw.
#4 Zefiro (4-1) - Claimed by sharp barn and has strong figs on this course recently. 2ND

R12 - G3 Hal's Hope

#2 Economic Model (3-1) - No stranger to coming in off a freshening and he's a true miler that projects to get an ideal stalking trip. WON $12.20
#3 Conquest Big E (8-1) - Coming off a bang up race with similar conditions and if he's able to stay a little bit closer to the pace, watch out. 4TH
#1 Irish War Cry (5-2) - Absolutely the marquee name in the field, but has a look of an underlay at this mile distance for return. 3RD
#8 Sent It In (7-2) - Gaudy fig when last seen last April, but leaning against despite solid works. Never easy to fade a Pletcher runner at GP.

R13 - MSW 50k (Turf 8F)

#5 Golden Challenge (12-1) - Barn wins on debut and this well bred colt would not surprise in this spot.
#10 Wisely (8-1) - Took money in debut and Hennig has been spotting them wisely at the current meet. Respect chances. 4TH
#7 Rhode Island (6-1) - Another regally bred 1ster from a top barn and shows a couple of recent bullets.
#9 Vegas Kitten (4-1) - Hard to go wrong with a Ramsey homebred form this barn. Attracts top jock.

Rainbow 6 - 7 9 14 / 3 4 9 / 5 7 8 13 / 2 3 / 2 / 5 7 9 10 = $57,60

PK5 - 3 4 5 9 / 5 7 8 13 / 3 7 / 2 / 5 7 9 10 = $64

PK4 - 1 5 7 8 13 / 2 3 4 / 2 3 / 5 7 9 10 = $60 for $.50

Good Racing Luck

Hi Gus

Thanks for posting your selections all the time. Invaluable resource to compare notes with.

I just wanted to throw this out there about the GP 8th. There is a very sneaky horse in there today. The #13 Second Illusion. Was bet down as they were going in the gate on the Friday of PWC weekend from 20-1 to 8-1. That is a pretty strong late push on an animal that seems modest at best. From the rail draw in a bulky field was off a beat slow and that was that. Timeform has the pace as slow that day and yet this one passed all of them but the two well bet Win Place horses. Amidst a slew of workouts there is a diamond of a move in 46 and change a ways back. Inside to outside draw, speed today, suspect field begging for a price.

Don't let this one beat you and pay $38.60.

A ton of things point here and I have been waiting for this one to run back. I think today is payday.

Best of luck!

Thanks, Ed - the money definitely came in on him, but those types of assessments will produce a sizeable profit in the future.
