Probably already been answered, but is Spa going to have those late starts on Fridays? Us working stiffs aren't able to play during the day (from work) so we'll have to look for something with a later start or wait till the weekend.

Looks like a juicy card. Now, hopefully the weather will cooperate; it better with 5 grass races (and not one at 5.5F).

right off the bat Saratoga shows why its by far the best racing in the country, if not the world. Full, competitive fields. Great purses, and all the best of the best want to win there.

Silver Edition...a modern day iron horse. You can count on wheeling him 2nd and 3rd in the tri.

What does that make Finallymadeit, who runs in every race at every track every day?

Great field for $80k. I'm guessing Pyro goes off favored... he won't win.

Brutal race for $80k. You can find far easier fields in graded races every weekend. Why are these horses not going in the Vanderbilt, or are most nominated there too? Funny that the Quick Call, a turf sprint didn't fill...

A super duper iron horse?

Wonder how Honour Devil will do with McLaughlin? Pretty neat fields in both of these Stakes!

I dont think the public will fall for Pyro off the long layoff and short distance.

I do like a layoff horse in the race...Honour Devil. He will be one of KMc's 2 wins on the day.

Maybe 1907? It only took 100 years to get him his name in lights...

The Dunce Cap would have been more appealing

I am predicting at least 3 scratches in the Marvin. HG has a negative trainer change.

The NYRA site says he was born in 1807. Another site says he was born in 1809, and started managing the hotel in 1830.

If I owned a track, I'd name stakes after has-been actors and actresses. "Today's Gary Coleman Handicap will be run at two-furlongs. The winner of tomorrow's Mr. T Handicap will receive a gold chain."

This is just a prep for him anyway..If he wins I would be very surprised..If he wins he may be pretty darn special and a welcomed sight in the Handicap division. De Kock has a huge rep huh?
