I would be thrilled to have my filly come in 4th. Congrats and remember... next time!
No time for fainting so will check out the other card later. Can't wait to see the Vosne Romanee field and who The Hombre will be beating. Again, cheers ed. That is fantastic. |

I looked over and over at Hastings... duh!
Okay found it and uh oh Titch, Aussieaussieaussie and Eagle Mountain... do you think he can win this? God I hope so. Who are you using in the big race? |

|
||||
|

Oh, yeah, sorry, should have mentioned it was at Riccarton! Eagle Mountain is the favourite there after his big run last time. He'll be hard to beat.
I like La Vienne and Jeu de Cartes (half-sister to Nom du Jeu) in the Hawke's Bay Cup. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjJJEbHdWpw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Delo6epA2c Okay well that concludes my break! That's what i want to hear though... later on, after I hear from you who did what and watch the replay? That's it... that would be the best. Good luck to you and to Jeu de Cartes jus because. I don't know like half the horses in the field I'm embarrassed to say. Hope you nail it! Come home safe, everyone. |

Flemington upsets! La Vienne second.
Canterbury Gold Cup coming up next. |

Inferno wins. VR and EM didn't really feature in the finish. I'll have to see the replay to see where they ended up. Disappointing.
And a good third for The Hombre. Ginner Hart and Double Barrel finished strongly down the outside and got past him - I don't think he saw them until it was too late. |

I love the story about Windwhistle, who came 2nd in the G3 Canterbury Gold Cup today.
He was bought as a yearling for $1000. He's now won $108,360. |

Wow, Time Keeper won a listed stakes race today. First win in more than two years.

That is great and unexpected news.
What is he now 6 or so? 7? Happy to hear it. I hope now he'll remember how to do it. |

He's only 5, actually. But he's had a lot of starts - 47. Nicholson really races his horses a lot.

I like Lady Kipling but it's been a while, hasn't it? Villifye seems like a little win machine. |

Villifye's been amazing this season. She's won four of her nine starts in 2011/12, and placed three times. Incredible consistency.
It has been a while since Lady Kipling won a good race - December was the last one. But since then she's been 4th behind Shez Sinsational in a G1, second behind Veyron in a G1, sixth behind Scarlett Lady in a G1 and fourth behind Say No More in a G1! So she's not running badly. I think she's right in this. I like her and Postman's Daughter. Floria never runs a bad race either. |

Jimmy was disappointing today. Had nothing when JR asked him for his usual sprint.
But Burgundy was awesome at Te Rapa in a G3 sprint, and Dolmabache was a 27-1 upset winner of the Travis. |

Yeah I wondered what was going on with Jimmy poor guy.
Why was Mufhasa scratched? He's okay right? Nice news about the others though. |

Mufhasa's fine - just a stone bruise. He'll be 100% in a couple of days.
As for Jimmy... see the Retirements thread. |
