I'm looking at Warwick and not understanding the odds in a few of the races...
Hot Snitzel at 6/1? I realize Steps in Time and Beaded are in the field but Paprika at10/1? Maybe it's me... |

Now about these nice horsies above... I'm sorry but the odds on Steps in Time were crazy and yes had her, had the exacta with Beaded and had Hot Snitzel. (Okay Paprika didn't make my tri work but that's fine). On this lovely girl... (she's becoming like an atm!)... http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/s....aspx?id=58081 ... and the Hot one... http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/s....aspx?id=58082 |

Caulfield R4, Anabandana with Soft Sand, Twilighting and possibly Shopoholic underneath
R5, this will sound too idiotic but I've decided I cannot play it. TOO sentimental and I can't be objective, period. Great, great field and good luck Mufhasa (and Wall Street). The more I think about it I can see pinker Pinker and Playing God hitting the board but like I said no way... I don't want to touch this! R6, Bel Sprinter to win and will play it a few ways using Sepoy, Satin Shoes, Yosei, and African Pulse underneath. R7, Armed for Action R8, Jesus good luck to Efficient who I love so much but will go with Glass Harmonium with Precedence, Illo and Southern Speed underneath. Maybe Lucas too but sorry am not using Manighar. Maybe that's stupid but whatever. *** Rosehill 3, Potions R4, Thumbtacks R5, Triple Elegance R6, great field! Not sure but am thinking Centennial Park and Hawk Island on top... must ponder some more. Good luck if you're playing! Oh and if anyone can explain to me how Bel Sprinter is NOT the favorite? Go ahead! |

I still can't get over it, ed. So happy.
As far as my handicapping or rather "handicapping" I need to just say I am both horrified and amazed at how truly bad I can be at times. * * * Awww, on Woorim... http://www.smh.com.au/sport/horserac...225-1tv4v.html Last edited by my miss storm cat : 02-25-2012 at 02:16 PM. |

Lucas Cranach injured and out...
http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/a....aspx?id=58488 It's a shame but even without him (and of course I hope to see him back) some amazing fields this weekend. Can't wait. I'm thinking I'll probably set a new high for what I lose in a single night but whatever. Exciting all the same. |

I have to edit this part because while I did try to beat Hay List (he was in the 2nd spot. Ugh.) it was the Chipping Norton I had in reverse... Rangirangdoo, Trusting, Danleigh Shootout. Everything and I mean everything I did was wrong except for this one race I didn't handicap, I just made sure that this was the first one I played when I logged onto my tvg account. So yes, redboarding but I had said she's like an atm so maybe that helps and admitting I had NOTHING else... Odds sucked but she did help me to recover part of the night so thank you Ms. Steps. Such a good girl. I hope anyone who played last night did better than I did. Last edited by my miss storm cat : 03-10-2012 at 03:26 PM. |

I'm going to be nice and bump this.
Steps in Time at Rosehill tonight. I'd imagine she'd be the 3rd favorite (?). My longshot for the night is Precedence* but this one... well take a look at her and decide for yourself. Some really exciting fields tonight...good luck to anyone playing. (* My personal current record-holder for amount of $ lost. He'll pay me back some day. This could be it). |

Besides watching Ms. Black Caviar win yet again is anyone playing tonight?
Randwick... I think I'm going to try to beat Pierro with Flying Snitzel... I like Miss Keepsake but might go with Divorces (R4)... Good luck to (King) Mufhasa even though it's pretty tough to beat Ms. Atlantic Jewel...(crazy odds on Centennial Park by the way)... Maybe I'm stupid but Permit is the favorite in the 6th because of what now? Nice nice field... money to be made there... More Joyous should be the favorite, not Americain but good luck to Jimmy and my old man Rangirangdoo... Boxing Pinwheel, Triple Elegence and Neeson in the last one. The 6th is the one I want to focus on... will edit in my stellar picks latah. (Sorry for being lazy and not using the proper names of the races). |
