Default ROI Results 12/19 @ Fair Grounds

Fair Grounds was the place to be on Saturday for most of our contest players. If it wasn't a
record for cashed tickets and players in the plus column it had to be darn close. 10 winning
bets were made with most tickets over $100. 7 players showed a profit. Joly B, Real Quiet
and Indian Hemp all showed a profit but missed getting any points. Cal takes the show spot
with $20 worth of trifecta tickets which he cashed for $275. Cruzan cruzed into the super slot
with a $25 win bet on Illogical Myth in the 9th. At least to me it seemed illogical but thats
why I'm in the bottom looking up. Ruffian takes the number two place spot with wagers that
I had to check and double check. Ruff put $26 on Logical Myth in the 9th and edged Cruzan
out by betting a dollar more. Ruff's horse was only 9-1 which is definitely an oddity for the
longshot seeking filly. To Ruff thats almost akin to betting on a favorite. The thing that really
had me double checking was that Ruffian only wagered $90. I have never known Ruff to not
wager every dollar she has. The big winner this week was Don Guido. DG put it all on
Archidust in the 7th and the resulting $10.40 double digit mutuel gave Don $520 and a big
win. Not a bad parlay Don with Archidust and Clemson ( I know they are not a Coastal
Carolina but being number 2 ain't half bad). Nicely played Don. Congrats on the win.
Whole lot of shaking going on here so hopefully the scorekeepers errors are minimal.

That was a complicated mess to figure out and you did a great job, but you missed one of my scores. I also had a $10 Exacta which would, I think, give me another $47?

Default Mrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrow

🐈 THE CAT’S MEOW 🐱

Inquiring minds need to know
The reasons behind how the Cat 🐈 screwed up

First of all
The ML Logical Myth was NOT 9/1 When I posted!

And,as you well know this Freaky Feline would
NEVER have included 9/1 in my wagers!!!

My cut off point is usually 12 / 1

As for the missing mysterious $10

Math has never been my strong suit 🙄
And when I rearranged choices on my paper
Somehow in my mysteriously muddled mind ...
I thought I added up to $100

Because I had changed the amount of a couple wagers
from my original choices, rearranging ... Mewsing.....🤔
and must’ve looked at those numbers by mistake 😡

Real Quiet is correct when he says I have never
in all the years in ROI ~
Missed out using the full $100 wager

As it turns out it didn’t much matter ...
because the other three horses 🐎 🐎 🐎 I Played
..... didn’t come in anyway 😢

Well, I think I made the corrections but you never know. I had to flip flop Cal and Cruzan in the 3rd and 4th positions as I missed counting Cal's exacta.
My apologies for the error.

Thanks much for the very eloquent Novelette. Here was my own kinda (Roamin) type, I think approach, for a change. I graduated from Clemson with a BS in Architecture (you can interpret the BS anyway you like) . Then thinking my Clemson Tigers were going to whip up on the Irish AND THEY DID I saw a some reasonable "Swammy Bet" with ARCHIdust. In school we always had dust on our old time drawing boards. It was as much a no brainer as Clemson over the ND. It'll never happen again (the wager win that is), so y'all don't worry about me taking on a new persona here.

And what the heck is a Coastal Carolina anyway? If ya don't know, and most of you wouldn't, Clemson sits snuggly in the eastern foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Cool nights from the prevailing breezes even in the middle of summer. A far cry and distance from the Carolina Coast.

Oh wait a minute, you must be referring to that very good Coastal Carolina high school football team. I get it now.

I have to say it - DonGuido, I am in complete admiration!

And I'm glad you got a very nice payoff for your selection.

Well done!

(And you were right about Coastal Carolina and Clemson too!)
