You know I looked at it at the beginning of the week and am all rushed now and trying to remember who I liked (but to use underneath cause I think you're right and Maurice looks like the likely winner)...

Think I was looking at Satono Aladdin and Tosen Stardom grabbing a piece of it but will have to edit in later after I look at it again.

Will not be using your good boy Isla Bonita in the top two spots BUT it would be extraordinarily nice to see him win this. Hope he runs well for you!

edit - Leaving soon and will probably miss the race as I'm taking my daughter to the theater... did this cause I am rushed (usually don't like using all but whatever)... trying to decide which to do a savor on... SA or Tosen S. Must ponder.

Good luck to you, SS, and to Kitan, Coachie, Ed and anyone playing!

Nice win by Maurice and hey your boy ran really really well!

Awesome to have some internationals there for the Cup (Trip to Paris, Ito, Erupt and Nightflower).

yeah Maurice is really good. I wonder how he would measure up on the world stage. It's too bad Isla Bonita got off a step slow. Not sure if he could've won....maybe 2nd. Nice run though.

Yeah, the internationals haven't had much luck in several years. I'm going to go ahead and make my pick now....Gold Ship!

An outstanding pick and I shall go with Lovely Day BUT for the record I did pick One and Only to win this 12 months ago - on the prediction thread and with his rather terrible year the odds will be really good so I will continue to hold out hope and do a small win bet on him just incase.

Looking like an awesome field!

Extremely happy with the post position my boys have drawn!

http://japanracing.jp/_news2015/151126-07.html

It would, of course, be awesome to see Gold Ship win his farewell but I shall stick with Lovely Day and One and Only. Will probably use Sounds of Earth and Shonan Pandora underneath along with must-use Gold Ship and Hit the Target for sentimental reasons.

Exciting!

Happy Thanksgiving, Sunday Star (and Ed, Kitan, Coachie, and anyone else looking @ Japan today).

Wondering your take on Admire Deus, SS, and also if you'll be using Last Impact.

That "pushing him to the point of irritation" line on One and Only by Kojiro Hashiguchi in the comments section of the jra site is a little... well not exactly the glorious comment I was hoping for! We shall see.

Great field!

Morning line (whoa the odds on One and Only are insane)...

http://japanracing.jp/_news2015/pdf/151128.pdf

I'm going to edit in my plays. Will use the probable winnah Lovely Day and possibly Sounds of Earth on top with Shonan Pandora and Mikki Queen underneath... Hit the Target and One and Only in the 3rd spot and a savor on One and Only cause I just have to. Might be tempted to add in Gold Ship somewhere at the bottom but - great as he is - I am not seeing it this time. Pondering Erupt at the bottom BUT completely leaving out the rest of the internationals.

Admire Deus scares me... still don't know what to do with him and have decided against Last Impact who I just like and even with Ryan Moore up I cannot see it happening here. (If I play a super will use in the 4th spot but I think I shouldn't as I suck at those).

Watch now that comes back to haunt me.

Okay will have to do my plays early so will edit in at the bottom.

Good luck Sunday Star, Coachie, Kitan, AJ, Golfer and anyone else playing (... and come home safe, everyone).

PP's, the Champion's Cup (the former Japan Cup Dirt) at Chukyo on Sunday (Saturday night)...

http://japanracing.jp/_news2015/pdf/151125-04.pdf

Who are you looking at, SS? I'm thinking Copano Rickey, Hokko Tarumae, or the HK Raider (yay!), Gun Pit.

Would of course be thrilled to see one of the old timers like Roman Legend or Wonder Acute win it but alas... so completely doubtful. Same goes for Grape Brandy...

Prettiest horsie (for golfer) award to Kurino Star O.

All of Gun Pit's replays...

Well good luck if you decide to play. Think I will just box my three (Rickey, Hokko, Gun PIt) or play around with them and possibly the mare, Sambista or the black beauty, Kurino Star O, underneath... maybe do a win on the HK boy and leave it at that? Wish he weren't in the 14 hole but what can you do?

Barrier draw...

SS your thoughts on both Nonkono Yume and Sound True would be appreciated cause this morning I am wondering if it's a mistake leaving these two out... perhaps use both in the 3rd spot? Ahhh help!

edit -

Well this is ridiculous as I am now wondering if Grape Brandy has a shot... think I should just leave it at this. Good luck if you are playing (and also to Kitan, Coachie, Ed, et al).

I realize I should probably (finally) give up on One and Only BUT if I do now he'll win.

Let me know who you like as it approaches...

I mean clearly we each have our boys in this one but who ELSE?

it would be great if Gold Ship could go out a winner but i don't think he will. so he probably will . everytime i lose faith in him, he wins. Lovely Day should be the favorite. he's had a great year and this would be the capper. but maybe he's a bit over the top. this race looks prime for an upset to me. there are 3 horses i give a good shot to pull it off. Lia Fail, Marialite and of course, Rouge Buck. call me crazy

Sometimes these races are mind-numbing... in trying to push aside sentiment and look with fresh eyes I wonder about LIa Fail as well but also and moreso Kitasan Black and Albert. Luckily there's time. I shall probably just use Lovely Day on top and not get too cute but then who knows!

(Too bad Shonan Pandora is out. )

Merry Christmas, my friend. Hope it's THIS good!
