Default Belmont, 7-7-7

Another contentious Saturday card at Belmont, but there do appear to be some stand-outs...

Race 1:
Basically no clue, watch the board (and probably best to watch the race)

Race 2:
See race 1

Race 3:
My buddy Dutrow's at it again, running 2 back on three days rest. Once again, I can't play either!
#1 Nerve, comes in off turf "bounce", strong if he can run back to previous dirt form.
#6 Oh My Stars, "bounced" in last while involved in speed duel, can improve
#4 Unaffected, 2nd off layoff for Hushion, some nice ones to run back to from last year.

Race 4:
#2 Port Royal, solid for Pletcher, should save ground today.
#10 Sensational Humor, outside post & highweight the only things keeping this one out of the top spot.
#12 Runaway Banjo, slightly slower than the top 2, needs to work out a trip.
#6 All Verses, 2nd lifetime start, 1st was solid.

Race 5:
Contentious race, but love the pattern on
#6 Stormy Kiss
Both McLaughlin horses (uncoupled, Magnuson trained) are dangerous, #8 Fantastic Shirl slightly faster than #5 I'm in Love.
#3 Cala Lilly also has a shot.

Race 6:
#9 Michelle the Great, comes in fastest with strong pattern.
#3 Visual Candy
#4 Absolute Heaven, #7 Jesse's Justice and #8 Them There Eyes, can all be used underneath.

Race 7:
Our favorite, the 6 furlong turf sprint!
#9 Trickanometry, 1st Rivto, was solid in Miami.
#1a Inside Info
#5 It's Magical (very healthy pattern)
#8 Son of Sabato (dangerous, although many ?? for ML fav)

Race 8:
#9 Dream Rush, outside post & highweight seem to make her vulnerable, but she's still much the fastest in here.
#1 Silver Knockers, gets the rail & is most likely upsetter.
#2 Cash's Girl & #4 Her Majesty, solid but slightly below top 2.

Race 9:
#8 Tsumanic, comes in the fastest, possible single in here.
#9 Triple Bogey Blues, #7 Senor Musician, #5 Bachelornumberone, #4 Victory Assured, and #3 Polite Speed, all similar and should round out the super.

As always, Good Luck to all!!

Early Pick 4 is brutal. Waiting to see the board for Race 2, but the 4th is no picnic either.

Late P4:

R6: 3,5,7,9
R7: 5,7,8
R8: 1,9
R9: 4,8

Back with the early P4 later.

golfer, watch the replay of Victory Assured and Triple Bogey Blues last race, I think you will see that VA is a much better horse. TBB bulled his way to the outside (and got dq'd for it) and got his run going much sooner as VA steadied and waited between horses. Once VA got through, he passed TBB fairly easily as they approached the wire.

Nice call. I took Day off, but wish I caught that one. If I remember correctly Junkaroo paid well last time also...
