Speaktomeofsummer was ROBBED in the Sands Point. Completely shut off in the stretch by the 4 and the 8, yet still powers up for second. If it would have been a 16th more, she would have beat the winner. And if she got free in the stretch, she would have won. Watch for this horse again.

She was unlucky in that she was stopped when she was starting to make her run but the winner absolutely galloped. I’m not a “that horse won in a hand ride so they could run faster if asked” guy but the winner was never asked at all. I don’t think anyone was beating her yesterday.

How about the trip the 5 had? May she had no run but Johnny was never able to get her out from behind the tiring pacesetter

I disagree about any horse being robbed for the win in that race. The winner was winning unless Wise Dan showed up(yes, hyperbole).
