All those jocks will be getting on hosses this morning and tomorrow morning when it's much colder than the afternoon. Seems ironic.

Is it more the crowd turnout that they worry about? OTB's and at home wagering would still be sprightly, though, especially on New Years Eve

No. It's the dead horses and mangled jocks they're worried about. Like yesterday at Laurel when 2 went down.

Thank you, Steve. I am an animal lover myself (though do not take that too literally in this current political climate). However, someone above suggested the horses and jockeys would be out there training regardless

Obviously he likes non fiction, as opposed to fictional bets like yesterday’s $1535 dollar mythical action.

Freddy I didn’t realize that nobody ever got hurt training on cold days, my bad.

C’mon guys, If I can set aside my disdain for RHT for the betterment of the board, I’m sure you guys can either avoid each other altogether or just link up at the Big Red statue once and for all and become best friends after the fight that would undoubtedly see less than 10 landed punches before being tackled by security.

You get one life to live. Some spend it eating (me), some are wound to tight (AS’s cornrows), and some live life perfectly (RhT’s 9 for 9 claim to fame)!

If I of all people learned to lighten up, it’s possible for ALL of us. Trust me.

Ok. New Year. Gonna have a try at Hot Springs this year.
No more joe rockhead posts
Will try to limit posts to Hot Springs stuff only. Except to point out that Nick Foles is shaky. Rams will crush Atlanta and Vikings . Saints will crush Panthers and iggles . Nfc championship game will be a thriller.

Jags whip bills and steelers and head to foxboro looking to put Brady out of football . Should be interesting. Pats will need to play their best or not win.

Great betting meet.
Full fields really help the product go,to make it better the public overplays the chalk/second choice in the multi's.........hence,the P-3/4's pay great.
FWIW: Last year the opening two weeks had a giant outside bias..........the slow money never caught on.

If Mike Smith took her out to see FU, she never would have let her by and finished her career with another win

Songbird really should have retired with sixteen wins in fifteen starts.
