[quote=my miss storm cat;998283]Ectot wins the Prix Niel, Ruler of the World the Prix Foy and Baltic Baroness the Prix Vermeille (Treve only 4th)... replays to come.
edit - Best I can find for now... Prix Niel... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yqUw2...ature=youtu.be Prix Foy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3Y2A...ature=youtu.be Prix Vermeille... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAyM...ature=youtu.be[/QUOT TREVE would be short; C.Head http://www.racinguk.com/news/article...vermeille-test Harry Herbert, the owners' racing advisor, said: "I'm a huge Treve fan. You only have to look at the Prince of Wales's Stakes when she was running on three legs. That is not an excuse, she was very wrong. She was very sore in her back and did not run her race. That is how brilliant she is, she was only beaten a couple of lengths that day. "But she looks amazing now. She is physically blossoming and, like a lot of fillies, this is the time of year when they start to blossom and she is coming to the fore. "Criquette has warned everyone that the Vermeille is not the Arc, so she may be slightly short of fitness on Sunday. Whatever she does, she will come on for that run. She's in very good shape. She is a very brilliant filly. I have no doubt she has trained on and can be a serious contender in the Arc." t

Edit: Useful links... http://www.france-galop.com/ http://www.attheraces.com/home/?ref=main+nav&nav=home * * * Anyone else narrowing the potential field down yet? If it were held today I would be thinking (in no particular order) Ectot, Taghrooda and either Harp Star or Gold Ship but there is a lot of time for that to change. Especially for Sunday Star ... the Japanese trio:
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=340066612841937 Not purposely leaving out vids of Montviron, Spirit Jim, Free Port Lux and Dolniya... will wait for the absolute final field and see what I can find_. Quote:
Hope the draw tomorrow (which will be live at 10:30 local time) (1:30 am PST)... http://www.prixarcdetriomphe.com/live/ ... is kind to those 4. |

how about a Japanese sweep?
3 yo fillies have done really well in the arc so maybe Harp Star can pull it off. if Just A Way can handle the distance, he probably wins. And Gold Ship is inconsistent but capable of firing a big shot so who knows.... |
