CRC quarantine impacts GP; Test results give all clear (almost)

The Calder barn area was placed under quarantine late Saturday afternoon after an unidentified horse began displaying symptoms of a neurological disorder. The horse was ultimately euthanized.

The quarantine will severely impact Sunday's racing program at Gulfstream Park, with nearly half of the 118 horses on the card stabled at Calder.

Of the 10 races on the card, the one in most jeopardy is the sixth, a $15,000 conditioned claiming event. Nine of the 11 horses in the field are stabled at Calder.
