I'm afraid to say, i think The Tatling's winning days are over. I thought he would win at Bath on his last start, but he never showed any sparkle. I think it's time he was retired. I know somone in Calfornia would take good care of him. Imagine him and Quito in a paddock together in your back yard, mmsc

A grand horse, who has given me many thrills, especially when winning my first ever £100+ on him many years ago at York.

Oh I agree and don't think he's got a chance but you know, I'm still thrilled at the possibility of seeing him run!

Yes, they are all welcome to come and stay.....

Racing Post...

The Tatling rolls back the years at Southwell
By David Baxter2.51PM 16 DEC 2008

THE TATLING proved that despite his 11 years, the fire still burns bright, as he recorded win number 13 at Southwell on Tuesday in the 5f Play Golf At Southwell Golf Club Handicap at Southwell.

Trained by Milton Bradley, the veteran came home with a late swoop under Jack Dean, demonstrating that he still retains a decent turn of foot, and passed £650,000 in total career earnings in the process.

Four Group class victories and a Listed success have been the highlights in a distinguished career spanning 109 runs, and on the evidence of Tuesday's performance, there could still be some similar races to be had for The Tatling.
