So To Honor and Serves comeback was way faster then Stay Thirsty and Uncle Mo. Here is a prefect example why BSF are only a tool and why Beyer created them to be ONLY as much. They all can go forward and isn't that what we all want? Plus we have a razor sharp Soldat and a few decent contenders out west, it's shaping up to be a good spring. Now the fun begins.

Moss Race Shape for the San Felipe: 98 (+26) 98 (+17) 94 (+7) 91

He's a nice horse and his consistency might prove a huge asset, but let's all get a grip about his performance. It was an illusion.

Are you referring to Jaycito?

Mostly Premier Pegasus. . . he was far enough out of it early that I think it was still a very advantageous trip for him. I'm not saying he's not ok, but some of the excitement on here and other places got out of hand. Jaycito and the third horse obviously got a ton of help, but Jaycito does seem like the type who can suck up for a piece in the derby.

PP was miles the best of the top 3 finishers.

Comma to the Top was an awesome 4th IMO. He would have murdered the Tampa Derby field on the basis of that performance.

I agree on Comma to the Top - I was shocked he ran on a bit.

When tj asked yesterday 'who was 4th' and I went back to the screen and saw it was him, I was stunned. Having seen Runflatout and Albergatti straggle home, I had figured he was probably 8th ahead of them.

Asmussen seems to have turned It Happened Again around. He sure has improved over his last few races.

What is Red Ace's BSF for his win in Sunday's 7th race at Fair Grounds. Thanks.

86 - he made an impressive move. . . was a nice little pinhook too for a Northern Afleet. . . from $77k to $300K.

I've kind of liked CTTT a bit as well. I was shocked he was still there late too, but might that be more of an indication that Jaycito just isn't that good?

Okay, I'm lost. What does Comma to the top hanging on for fourth have to do with Jaycito being not very good?

I would say it was widely held going in that Comma To The Top had peaked and considering he was involved in that brutal pace and actually opened up at the top of the stretch, Jaycito should have soundly defeated him.

Jaycito likely needed a race but it would have been nice to see him move forward in his first start at 3 a little bit more than that. He's going to have to improve quite a bit to be considered a win candidate on 5/7.
