Default Military Editorial

This will be published on Monday in four branches of our military's newspapers.
It speaks to the incompetance which we, as citizens believed in, but worse yet, what those that are risking their lives take their orders from.

I read the article...that would be something if Rumsfeld stepped down...this is definately a no-confidence vote. Waiting to see the fallout

Timm,
This is for those that don't want to read about it from "common dreams".
It's all over the world.
Good luck neo-cons!

Danzig,
Advice: Don't go to the track and bet a horse with Bush.
He's good at picking losers.
He knows that territory.
Look at his "winners".

Do you want a list of "winners" picked by Dubbya?
OK...Afghanistan...uh..naw.
Iraq?...sorry.
New Orlean's recovery?...oh geeze, lets forget that one too.
"Homeland security"...30 billion a year? Let's not go there.
Those that he chose to surround himself with like Delay, Hasstert, oh...nevermind.
Actually, he really did pick a winner once...Terri Schiavo. Unfortunately, she died.
Keep betting on this loser if you think he's giving you "winners".
Feel free to list them.
Balanced budget? Booming economy? Clear skies? No child left behind? Healthy forests?
Take your pick.
List your choices for his best victories.
Thanks.

lol. Social Security?

I think Gannett publishes Military Press. I'm sure that tomorrow Fox will teach us all how this is a "liberal" outfit. The fun part of the day will be trying to guess who Hannity trots out. Newt? Always a solid choice. Maybe Ollie has some "deep cover information." Just as sad will be the Democrat sound bites, sure to be dripping red, white and blue.

My wife and I voted today, since we're out of town Tuesday, election day. Took 2 hours to get through line. Voted for a few Republicans, a few Democrats and generally voted to "Not Retain" most of the judges and also voted against all of the spending referenda.

I had the pleasure of voting against KAtherine Harris, who is running against the Dem incumbent Senator Bill Nelson here in Florida,. Overall, I like Nelson and think he does a good job, but I also admit that I'd vote aganst Harris no matter what. If you recall, she was the Florida Sec of State who declared the '04 election for Bush. She got rewarded with a seat in Congress but neither GWB nor Jeb would campaign for her (Jeb said she couldn't win). She won the Repub primary by spending a ton of her Daddy's money. That woman is a freaking freak. Even the Repub's are wise enough to want to get rid of her,

DTS,

I find your insight very humorous. You undoubtably are an up and comer in the world of also-rans. To you it's all about blogs and TV. Come join me in Iraq, Afganistan, hell just amke it to Bahrain and we, the military will show you the truth.

Aloha

Jocko,
You sound like you're on a mission. I hope you find Osama bin Laden, though I saw a guy that looked just like him in line at the bakery right behind Elvis.
Good luck in your quest for "truth".

i saw a bit more on this yesterday, that the army times isn't actually done by the army...and they're the ones who initially ran the editorial. are any of these 'military' publications actually done by any of the military?

Danzig,

The answer is no. The military is not affiliated with any of the publications. They are privately owned.

Aloha/Geoff
