Default ROI Results 6/3 @ Churchill

Churchill proved a tough test to hit the points board in the ROI. But one player nailed it.
5 tickets were cashed, two by the winner but only Cal could show a profit and it was a
nice one. Cal placed bets in races 8 through 10 and hit a small pick 3 and a nice exacta
in race 10 which payed $26.84 for each of the 10 $2 tickets he had. Nice wagering Cal.
After a two week hiatus Cal is back on top in the ROI challenge. As for the others who
cashed tickets Indian Hemp had a 20 cent super but fell about a fiver short of a profit.
Zippy had one nice winner but couldn't catch another in his 3 other bets and Cruzan
added one winning bet. The rest of us were skunked with our Churchill bets. Following
are the unofficial results pending a booth review. See you all next week with a fresh
$200 bankroll at the Belmont. Will we sink or swim? Bring your water wings Roof. It's
been a Ruff year so far.

Well another stupid mistake on my part for the ROI. The trials and tribulations of DonGuido . . .

My sheet says:

Race 5 $33 tri 3-5-4 . . . . but I entered the wager for Race 3, why, who the hell knows except there's just too much real life intereferring with the game I guess!?

And if I would have Entered the straight Tri properly for Race 5 it would have paid $475.20 . . . woulda-coulda-shoulda Oh well, we'll see how I can screw up with the Belmont contest.

You get my vote for bravest bettor. I can only remember hitting a cold tri one time and that was in 2009 when Rachel Alexandra beat Mine That Bird and Musket Man in the Preakness. My shoulda was I only bet it for a dollar. Still, it paid $108.10. I made some more likely bets on the race and had a dollar left over so decided to throw it on the tri with no notion that it would actually hit. It won and my other bets were losers.

Yes, I've rarely hit a straight Tri, I just had a feeling about that race. So I played it and felt good I hit and then lookiing back at my post, I just shook my head and said . . . way to go you knuckle head!!! But hey it's only play money and a little bragging rights, right!?
