Steve,
I found what Jon was saying about the two derby preps (ie. foul shots) a great way of putting it. Im still (old school ?) in the thinking that todays horses just dont run enough. [ the handle with kid gloves theory ]. I wonder what your feeling is on the 4 horses he named for this years derby, will fare?
I do understand there is sooooooo much money paid for these fine horses, and the ""lack" of preps. With all this technology, its mind blowing that horses (in years past) would run many races and even the week before the derby and then go on to win the derby. I guess I'll be wrong on the four horses Jon named and throw them out. As I did a few years ago...when I said.... "" A gelding cant win the derby... look @ their record"" and watched Funny Cide cross the line first !

Btw.. the show keeps getting better and better , keep up the fantastic work!
