Two weeks behind . . . so here's a quicky update. Two notes, Plenilune jumps back into 2nd place and FATPIANO is added to the list. And The Derby looms on the horizon!!!

Changes at the top with Cal828 moving back into the lead bringing home a REPEAT and Plenilune staying red hot with big ROI numbers. Not much else to report on except Alli looking strong along with Indian Hemp. I'll get back to "normal" here soon.

So those who hit some selections for Derby Day, with double points awarded, made some big move up the ladder with Cal828 moving right along as our leader and Plenilune not too far behind. Ruffian made a huge jump into 3rd place with her scores in both picks and wagers as JolyB adds nicely to his totals as well. DonGuido was the only one adding extras for selecting the lengths back of the horse finishing last and Real Quiet moves much close to the century mark.

Ruffian's choice to go the the Big Apple, actually Belmont is in Elmont NY, a "suburb" east of the NYC. So lets see how Belmont treats us. Thanks for playing and I luvs all of ya's.

No change in the order at the top but several had some nice gains, as Cal828's lead narrows with 3rd in Pts and Plenilune is the closest chaser landing a 2nd in Pts. DonGuido somehow is adding ROI wins to his bag of tricks gaining ground on Ruffian while Real Quiet nabs the Pts win solid in the 6 hole. Alli 4th in Pts joins hands with Cruzan in the 8th spot and Indian Hemp jumps over NJ to take over the 11th rung of the ladder.

Off to Pimilico and the Preakness (double pts and $200 wallet again), and lets see how many of us ignore Medina Spirit this time. Good luck to Bob and ga'luk to all here for more fun at the 2nd jewel of the Triple Crown. It's time for RQ to land a REPEAT and those double points are extra special.

Alrighty then, with double points of Preakness Day we have quite a bit of movement. First off DonGuido takes over the lead (likely temporarily) with his 2nd place scores in each contest. Ruffian hangs tough in the 4 hole with 3rd in Pts and JolyB nails big points and tightens his hold on the 5th rung of the ladder nailing the win in Pts. Digger leaps over RQ taking the 6 spot hitting a nice first in ROI and Alli nabbing a 4th in Pts says bye-bye to Cruzan taking over the 8 spot all by herself.

DonGuido continues to garner points in the lead by hitting in both contest and Cal 828 stays close in 2nd with a tie with DG in Pts.Ruffian moves up to join Plen on the 3rd rung with her 3rd in Pts. JolyB is making steady progress hitting is both contests and Real Quiet shines with a win in Pts jumping over Digger to take on the 6th rung of the ladder. Cruzan adds a few to his pocket with minor honors in ROI. And Indian Hemp hits a very nice 1st in ROI to tag along with Roamin in the 10 hole while Digger returns positive cash for 4th in ROI.

JolyB lands a win in Pts and keeps adding to his totals and Alli gains minor points in Pts hanging tough on the 8th rung of the ladder.

It's our last official double points, double wallet contest and DonGuido continues to widen his lead a bit using double pts day to bolster his 4th in Pts and JolyB nabs 3rd place double pts solidifying his place on the 5th rung of the ladder. Real Quiet brings in big points to his total with a win in ROI hanging tough in the 6 hole and Digger matches RQ for a bag-o-pts to add to his 7th place total with a win in ROI. And Alli takes down a bunch with a nice 2nd in Pts.

Cal828 garners 3rd place adds in Pts hanging tough in the 3rd place slot and Real Quiet jumps over JB to take over the 5th rung of the ladder with a nice REPEAT in ROI with 20 bonus pts. Digger takes minor honors with 4th in Pts standing pat in the 7 hole while Cruzan-200246 pulls in a nice win in Pts jumping into the century mark.

Ruffian takes over the lead bringing home a load of oats with a REPEAT in Pts jumping over DonGuido nailing a 2nd in both contests. Cal828 grabs minor honor with a 3rd in Pts and 4th in ROI and JolyB does the same with a 4th in Pts. Digger keeps his hot streak going with a nice win in ROI as Indian Hemp gains 3rd place pts in ROI.

Let's see where our Colorado kitten takes us for another challenging card and see if she can pull off the coveted THREE PEAT. Her crystal ball and Ouija board will get more attention than usual this week as he moves up to the 10 hole.

Ruffian continues as the leader adding a 3rd in Pts and DonGuido (having a bad case of second-itis) hangs tough on the second rung of the ladder. Cal828 gains ground on the toppers with a nice Pts win and Plenilune adds minor honors with a 4th in Pts. JolyB breaks the 200 points level with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet moves ever closer to that total with an excellent win in ROI.

So lets see how Saturday's Belmont card works for all of us as we get ready to move up the Hudson to the little piece of Heaven called Saratoga. Patty and I would love to be there and take in the oft' pungent Adirondack breezes, watch the fabulous races and reflect on all those keepsake days spent on the mountain lakes in our youth.

Real Quiet jumps over JolyB, now in the six hole, to land on the 5th rung of the ladder while Indian Hemp has a very big day at the cashier window adding winning points in ROI.Roamin hang tough in the 11 slot with a nice 2nd in ROI.

DonGuido, feeling his oats, lands a SWEEP and CATapolts to the lead hitting the 300 mark while appearing to RUFFle the fur of our Colorado kitten Ruffian with her 2nd in Pts now in the two hole, Cal828 add nicely to his totals with a 3rd in Pts and Real Quiet captures minor honors jumping up to join Plen on the 4th rung of the ladder. And Digger adds to his coffer hitting a 2nd in ROI.

Off to The Spa again to what's in store for us there. The weather report I see says sunny in the AM with possible showers in the afternoon . . . typical summer day in the Adirondacks.

As a side note points totals are way down this year. This time last year Cal828 had a total of 483 pts for the lead and the three behind him all had over 300 pts. Interesting???
