In what should be the final nail in Schiano's NFL career coffin - The NFLPA has now publicly stated, on the record, that they firmly believe that Schiano was the source of the leak which led to Josh freeman's personal information and subsequent voluntary enrollment in the NFL's substance abuse program getting out.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-...d-freeman-info You'd think that 0-5 with no signs of life, and yet again another completely unprepared football team taking the field would be enough - I don't see how this charlatan lasts the week. |

Really disappointing effort from the Bucs last week coming off the bye. I really thought with them getting rid of the Freeman distraction, having two weeks to get Glennon prepared, this team would look much improved. Glennon did...but at the same time Schiano's defense looked terrible and the penalties keep piling up from a rather undisciplined looking team especially on the offensive line.
No excuses this week...the Falcons are really banged up. With a short week coming up for the Thurs night Panther game and a trip to Seattle the following week...Schiano better start turning things around in a hurry. |

I would be shocked if he made it through the weekend.

He will. This ownership really has no valid options as all of the horrible coaches are Schiano's hires as well. There is no incentive for the coaching staff to put any effort into the rest of the season by backing an interim hire knowing they're all canned afterward anyway.
I've never seen such a mess. Billboard outside Raymond James Stadium: |

Only if he has the same agent he had at Rutgers.

At least the entire country can now see how inept and unable to adapt to change this entire coaching staff is. They were lucky to escape the 2nd half.
The team has legit talent, and Glennon is not as bad as you'd think. Unfortunately, they are constantly being weighted down by a 2nd rate collegiate coaching staff masquerading as an NFL squad. |

I'm surprised we haven't heard a story or two about dissension in the ranks, seeing how everybody involved knows that this guy isn't in the NFL next year.

Just wondering how much more money Tampa Bay is going to pay Schiano with his extension.

It will be interesting to see them actually face a real team. Once again, they have a 31-6 lead, and the game gets way more interesting than it ever possibly should have.
I'm definitely getting more and more impressed with Glennon, and should he continue to improve each week, may just be their answer at QB. But the week in and week out display of asinine penalties and the fact that they cannot close the door in the 2nd half are glaring indicators that he has deeper problems within his coaching staff that he's incapable of addressing or dealing with. |

Six games left for the Bucs and most likely for Schiano too.
at Lions- likely LOSS at Panthers- certain LOSS Bills- shot for a WIN 49ers- likely LOSS at Rams- likely LOSS at Saints- certain LOSS since Saints want home field for the playoffs The only real hope is that teams look right past the Bucs which is what happened in Seattle; to the players credit they have not quit. Schiano is getting $3 million a year at Tampa and his Rutgers package was $2.3 a year when he left which really surprised me. Greg Schiano has pulled down a awful money in his coaching career but one would think he'll have a hard time getting back to the Rutgers pay scale anytime soon. |

Once again, showing the haters up. This game wasn't even as close as the final score shows.
