Gander Blue Jays

Gander I hate to say this but what do you remember whats I told you last week? WHile guys like you and I and Kev are worrying about Red Sox vs Yankees the Blue jays just keep humming along steadily. They are one personnel move from being the division winner. They arent great in any one category but unlike the Sox and Yanks they actually have a solid staff and middle relievers who get the job done. Their payroll isn't astronomical and they have room to trade for a star in the summer and eat the salry for a few months. Also, guys used to hate being traded there but if they are near first place come July, guys will ok a trade to there for a few months to play on a contender and get the press to have more notoriety and leverage for a new contract upon seasons end that they wouldnt get in Yankees and Bostons big name lineups. They are a 1/2 game out now, ahead of the Sox, and unlike Baltimore last year, they aren't going to go away. We are in serious trouble.

I know. Being so caught up with our teams, we never talk about this scrappy team from Canada. I think Roy Halladay is the best pitcher in the AL and he absolutely owns the Red Sox, so do the Blue Jays as a team.

Red Sox have looked pitiful, last night the Twins swept them. Ouch.

Should be a very good division race. Hope 2 of these 3 teams make the playoffs. That would have to mean the Tigers go down like the Titanic.
