Default May sound stupid

But why can't the harness industry use the same saddlecloth colors as the TB industry ? It just screws everybody up when watching or betting.

I don't care if they did it first, but uniformity would be appreciated.

Think it would help their business.

I think if they had better egg salad at their tracks that it would increase handle more than uniformity in saddlecoth colors, tbh.

That’s obviously a joke, this unfunny man’s way of giving his opinion that saddlecoth colors have ZERO to do improving their product.

Good Egg Salad Sandwiches would enhance any racing product.
But I would think similarities, not differences would help harness.

Although the food at harness tracks is usually very good. We go over to Sar harness for the Sunday buffet. Always get better and much cheaper food at the harness tracks.

Think that's the least of their worries with so much else going on. Also, the countries with the best business (e.g. handle, interest, etc.) use monochromatic saddlecloths.

I disagree it has no impact. OK, harness is at night for the most part, but I see people at OTB and the track and the colored saddle cloths help them follow their horses. I think it was a wonderful innovation. They are often flapping and behind other horses, but the color stands out. People look for that now.

A new person at the track, you want to make it easy for them to follow their horses. Colors are easy.
