12 furlongs with a strong gallop with a bit of ease in the ground is ideal for him, and finally he's had everything go his way.

EDIT - It also helps that he's no longer trained by the clowns in blue.

Final Dubai Carnival Standings

Congrats and terrific job to No Chance To Dance who showed incredible balls napping 14-1 shot Eastern Anthem who pulled off a narrow victory, no doubt with a screaming No Chance cheering him on. Props to HHH who had 2 big priced winners today EA as above at 14-1 and that freak Gladitorius at 12-1. Honourable mention goes to Jaripeo as well who lead until the last day and came up with some brilliant hits during the meeting.

A lot of us got 0 today as Two Step Salsa with triple points cancelled out our losses.

It was a cracking Carnival and look forward to next years (there still is going to be a Carnival next year, is there with the developments in Meydan?? anyone know?). Ill probably make a few amendments to the scoring next year with possibly 2 horses per race with win, each way and /or exacta bets. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to share their thoughts. It was great having 12 participants this year and hopefully we raised awareness of the Carnival here. Next year, we'll, please God get a handful more.

Wow!

I knew I had done well yesterday, but didn't think I'd catch those at the top of the leader board!

A fair share of luck, managing to nap not only a 14/1 winner, but napping him on a day offering treble points. Considering I had achieved very little in the comp all year, as well.

Jaripeo, I feel sorry for you, because you had led the way for much of the carnival, pulling out some big priced winners from your bag of tricks.

Brock, I like the idea of the two selections with the win, each way and exacta combining the two. I remember you doing that for Royal Ascot either last year or the year before. It was a grand idea.

Thanks for running this again this year.

Thumbs up It was great fun!!!

I've enjoyed the racing from Dubai, it breaks up the doldrums of the winter months every Thursday morning. It was a profitable carnival for me this year and with a little turn of luck....REAL profitable! Thanks for the contest and looking forward for some of the runners at Nad Al Sheba making thier way to the states for big races later on in the year.

Great handicapping, yesterday was truly a challenge with so many good horses to choose from. Congrats.

Default Thanks Brockguy!

Hey were is my horse collar award?

I learned some lessons this season but it was lots of fun.

Think next year I will try to stop the bleeding by concentrating more effort on a race or two each day rather than just dabbling with the entire card.

I especially enjoyed the telecast Saturday. Who knows maybe TVG ot HRTV could cover more days next year.

Brockguy, thanks for all your efforts. Great job running this contest!

An opportunity for W/P wagers or exacta would be welcomed but I'm pretty easy..........whatever you decide on is fine. You don't want to complicate the scoring too much.
