Kind of forgot that if PVal was on easy goer, Instead of patient Pat Day, he might have won Triple Crown. Fact remains that Easy Goer had his chance to prove he was the better Hoss, but wasn't

I was at that Belmont and that run by Easy Goer was one of the best I ever saw.

No doubt. Sunday Silence was giving his best to no avail but wasn't gonna get beat for second running hard to the wire.
The cheering at Saratoga for easy Goer was spine tingling. They loved him.

Just caught it this morning. I was just a kid when that happened so don’t remember it at all. Pretty cool though.
