They definitely look like they stick out at this point. The picture should get clearer with these 9 furlong preps. The Florida Derby could shake things up and 3 of the last 4 winners have gone on the drape the roses.

Agree that Florida Derby is interesting. Want to see if Audible can duplicate the last effort. If so will be a major player but wouldn't be surprised with a dropback. I liked catholic Boy before that last race but after that not sure anymore. Will need to see a much better effort this time. Not a believer in Promises Fulfilled but the FOY wasn't bad. I assume you will be there?

It seems the pace will be contested in the Florida Derby, unlike the FOY. I'm expecting Catholic Boy to take back and make a strong late run. Most of these runners are light on points (Audilble) and will have to fire their best shot to qualify or consider the Lexington two weeks prior to the Derby.

I'm still on the fence about attending with it being on Easter weekend.

I like those 3, but I'd still gladly take the rest of the field in an even money bet.

Not sold after one good effort in Tampa Bay Derby, but will definitely be interested to see how he runs in the Blue Grass Stakes this weekend. Deep crop of talented horses this year.

Bolt D'Oro, might have had a chance had his trainer Ruiz, realized the San Felipe doesn't award roses. He had his work cut out for him to start with Daddy running fourth in 2002...he may place in 144. Good Magic may hit the board , he has the foundation, but doesn't seem to have the closing down the lane speed. Justify may hit the board, but does he have the foundation to run back against the best in 4 weeks without it (IMO)..like proven champions who have traveled the world winning in 4 countries such as Mendelsohn. Audible may hit the board, I like him over Justify. If Quip runs well next weekend , he
may step up to be considered ITM 144.

after the winners as Juvys are considered , who surprisingly , except for McKenzie, are still running..only a couple more who have stepped up thier game from 2017 and perhaps one who has no 2 year old credence seem to be probable for winning 144

it sure would be nice to see a rabbit burn out Justify and his greenness in kentucky. Bolt couldn't catch him..he left his derby 144 in the San felipe.

Promises Fulfilled and Flameaway should be forwardly placed.

I would like to see Irad stick with Free Drop Billy, as he seems the type that can add some value in the race.

Good luck beating Justify because of his foundation being built on straw supports. It's 2018, not 1988. this guy is the greatest dirt trainer ever, you really think a bruised hock is keeping Mac out of KD? He knows Mac has 0 chance v Justify and he knows Justify will be toast by June and Mac will be coming back for Haskell Travers when these other colts are toast. He is the best and knows horses better than anyone, he plays the game like Mozart played music.

He is going nowhere. Watch the replays of his last 2 and tell me why you think he has any shot.

I don't think BDO wants any part of 1 1/4, despite his pedigree.

The B.C. Juvenile Turf winner. I don't know who he beat in the UAE but Holy Shlt! What a performance. He doesn't have those long legs that you see on a turf horse. He is built low to the ground.

If he is the real deal this horse might come close to or beat the track derby record.

I originally thought after the San felipe, that Bob would skip the SA derby, and go right into 144 with Mac. However for him to skip the derby is not a ploy, but an injury. he my have skipped SA ...but the entire sport revolves around winning in Kentucky in May. for that reason , I have to disagree with your logic. He would not skip shipping to Louisville for 144 unless he was hurt
