Default Current diva of the world!

Who would be your selection as of right now... not the end of the year, not after the BC... NOW?

Goldikova?

More Joyous?

Typhoon Tracey?

Hot Danish?

Katie Lee?

Zenyatta? Rachel? (It's weird... it's like having kids where if you say one you have to include the other...).

Blind Luck?

Other and, if so, who?

Just wondering.

* * *

Who will be nominees next year?

My choices are Snow Fairy and Music Show.

Yours?

But there are so many great fillies and mares in the world at the moment. We're lucky!

Is More Joyous better than Alinghi was at the same stage of their careers?

I would say yes.

I want to know what the experts on the other side of the globe think.

She was the one filly that popped into my mind that was similar in talent, Alinghi won 4 gr.1's including a win over Fastnet Rock in 8 career races in Australia, should be an interesting discussion.

Obcourse Makybe Diva stands alone in terms of ultimate diva's from down under.

Agreed, they are different, the one thing that stood out to me about Alinghi was her tremendous turn of foot. Poetry in motion.

1998-2002.

48 starts
32 wins (13 G1)
9 seconds
3 thirds

The greatest horse I've ever seen - by a long, long way.

I just started following Australian racing in 03 when Makybe Diva won her 1st Melbourne Cup, unfortunately I just missed Sunline. Respect your opinion but better than Lonhro?

CSC... was wondering if you had a chance to watch the More Joyous race last night (?)...

I almost had a heart attack. Honestly didn't think she would get up there in time and suddenly... whoooosh!
