Having said that, he's going against established older sprinters, and is 3rd choice over AP Indian? He's never EVER been this deep, and i think that baffert/speed is propping this one up.

Mike Smith agrees with you......

AP Indian is the 4th choice on the morning line? How could he possibly go off longer than Drefong, even with the public's Baffert love affair?

West Coast love for Baffert & Ellis which means no love for Arnaud Delacour.

I'll sign up for 4-1 on him right now.

Don't think we see those 4-1 guys. How often are we all fired up with Breeders Cup morning line and plan accordingly only to be dissapointed. Tepin last year for instance.

More importantly to me, is what will his odds equate to in the multi's. My guess is he will be generous there as people try to get through being thin to spread in other legs.

Default Dirt Mile

After careful consideration, I was thinking that since Runhappy runs the turns so fast he can barely hold them, having the advantage of 2 of them to run in just a one mile race, should beat this field. Other than Gun Runner, there really isn't anyone who scares me. Dortmund runs well every time and is a big good looking guy, but after having his spirit broken by the big hoss, cant have much left in the tank for this task.

I think there are a few questionable morning lines.

Lord Nelson out of BC Sprint with a cut on right front, got infected, has to be treated with antibiotics, per Spendthrift's Ned Toffey.

I just did that race and I felt up to that point was my best bet of the entire weekend.

So much for that.

David Grening ‏@DRFGrening 2m2 minutes ago
McLaughlin said Lady Shipman will run in Ken Maddy, that opens the door for Green Mask to run on Turf Sprint.
