Sporting Life.....

DYLAN AMONG JAPAN CUP ACCEPTORS
By Tom Peacock, PA Sport

Dylan Thomas features among the acceptors for the Japan Cup later this month.

The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner will be on the Coolmore Stud roster for next year and while his participation is by no means certain, what was to be his final outing in the Breeders' Cup Turf was effectively wrecked by soft ground at Monmouth Park.

Three other European horses have accepted invitations, with Halicarnassus and Papal Bull - first and third in the Arc Trial at Newbury last time - also possibilities, along with German ace Saddex.

Brian Meehan's Red Rocks, winner of the Breeders' Cup Turf in 2006, was pulled out of Tokyo's November 25 showpiece.

Meanwhile, Clive Brittain's Kandidate and the Gerard Butler-trained Jack Sullivan have accepted invitations for the Japan Cup Dirt the day before.

You mean Papal Bull

and i hope you're right. The horse is a law to himself, but that's what makes him so popular.

PAPA "(L)" BULL LIKES TO RIDE FROM ALL THE WAY BACK AND CLOSE LIKE A ROCKET (SEE PRINCESS OF WALES´S STAKE AND GEOFFREY FREER STAKES) THIS TIME HE NEED TO GET AT LEAST IN THE 3TH POSITION FROM THE BEGINING, AND HE WILL DO THE JOB.
NICE HORSE
PAPAL BULL TO WIN

He does need to be held up towards the rear really. He's a funny horse, and has his own ideas about the sport and when he will perform his best. Ryan Moore seems to be able to get the best out of him.

Ryan loves him because he's a reall character and he tests him as a jockey.

He wouldn't be likely to run if Dylan Thomas was to take his chance though.

K. Fallon fits well with him and I will love to see him ride on it. I know that will be a good respond on PAPAL.

I'd love to see kieren there..... or anywhere.

Oh well.

Didn't Ryan have the mount on Kandidate last time he won? Feels like it was a long time ago, poor thing.

PPs, first nominated horses.....

Well, as you know, Mr Fallon has a been a bit stupid in getting himself mixed up with the wrong people and telling lies. Getting himself mixed with them is one thing, but the lies are another.

Ryan Moore is the best man for the job, you have to handle this horse with kid gloves, and that isn't something that Fallon is great at doing.

I´m nobudy to judge his behavior his OK as a jockey for me. He also put this horse twice in the winners circle in a grades stakes, BUT BUT if he is not the eligeble Ryan must be the man.
Im just worry about THE MOON (¿¿Remember the Yellow Floyd??)

I will be surprised if Ryan doesn't get the ride if the horse runs. There is no way Fallon will be able to ride, he has already said he will not be riding anywhere while to court case is going on.

Still waiting on Dylan i expect. I think it's probably a case of if he runs, Papal won't.
