Under the same logic, can I make the argument that Teuflesburg would have won the Strub today with the same trip as that son of Thunderello?

I guess this moron Hooves took that post down. Thanks for showing it to me. The race set up exactly like I thought. Daaher gets dueled into submission. Brass Hat ran his race. No complaints. Ran respectable. It's tough to close on that track from dead last....but Marinez rode a good race. Horse just isnt what he used to be. My day was made when I was in the paddock at GP and some idiot from NY next to me goes "I came down from NY to see the 2008 HOY Daaher". My reply to him was "Well...you are gonna see him back in NY again....next fall winter on the inner running for a tag". Horses like Daaher only seem to win when things go exactly their way on the lead. Once they face pressure, it's fold time.

As far as Hooves.....my opinion of you hasnt changed. You are borderline retarded.

The synthetic surfaces are a different animal.

Teufelsburg wasn't as good of a turf horse as Monetary Jazz is.

Be sure to let me know when that happens.

Freddy and I will try to claim him as a stallion prospect.

Yes, you are some genius, there. So impressive, I poured a drink and perused your last 100 posts to find you winning opinions.

These are the winners you gave out:

Sunwonlovesyou: "I'm glad I bet her to place her last three races"
Smokey Stover: "Yes, I bet a 'ton' at 8-1"
Super Frolic: "That Exacta put hundred dollar bills in my pocket."

Somehow, some way, for God only knows what reason, these great pearls of wisdom were delayed in their transmission until days, weeks or months after the actual races took place.

I hate when that happens.

when you watch Daaher in the head-ons in some of his wins, especially after blinkers, you can see the type of horse he is. He is a compact "missle" of a horse. He has a fast turnover rate with his stride. He isn't a big long guy with a natural high cruising rate, he is a powerpack. It just didn't translate all that well into 9 furlongs today. I thought he would run away with Kiss The Kid and they would leave everyone in the dust. Everyone broke very well, and the short run up.

Doesn't mean he still isn't a top miler at all. Coa made a nice ride by getting SaL out and forwardly placed, and it wasn't all that much different from the ride Gomez gave him in Dubai. I was hoping kiss the kid would have done a little more, he didn't get as great a start as I hoped, but there isn't a whole lot of run-up into turn 1 or a whole lot KTK could have done to Spring at Last anyway. Decent tri. Brass Hat raised my bloodpressure about 100 points at the end... Would have been amazing if Kiss the Kid had won it.

A gift?

Surely you are kidding. You are funny. Telling me an 8-1 shot isnt going to win. Going out on a real reach there . Truly impressive.

Your reasoning was hilarious. Even after the race.....still is.

You are a pair of clown shoes.

Did he like Spring at Last ?

If so I will congratulate him. I asked him his opinion of the race and he was afraid to say anything.

Not sure why.

You had a winner.

Congrats.

Impressive considering your idiotic reasoning you posted before.

What did the animal pay?
