if it was that easy, there would be no stall walkers or weavers.
and yeah, i know some horses do well with company. actually most do, a single horse in a pasture can often become neurotic--no one to help watch for predators, horses after all are a prey animal.
maybe he needs a cat, or a rooster. or maybe he just needs to stay in cali and win every race and make many $'s. easier on the goat population that way.

NASCAR?

no thanks,
Im not a red kneck.

dont know what could be more boring than watching cars driving around a circle in hopes that someone makes a right turn.

I like the sport of horse racing.
but I dont have to care about the health of the participants involved.
same with the NFL.
I like watching the NY Giants more than just about anything else on earth.
but I dont give 2 sh*ts about Tiki Barber or Jeremy Shockey as people.
they could both die tomorrow and I simply do not care.

And those people are the ones that create polytrack. Our racing integrity is at stake here and there is one thing that we are great at and that is racing on the dirt. It will be a woeful time in the US when the Europeans come over here and run 1 2 3 in the Classic. Repent and I (hopefully he does) hope that something else can open up peoples eyes to this polycrap s*it and help save what we have spent over 100 years building, the best DIRT horses in the world.

right on.

and besides the racing aspect, we really dont know what externalities come with this crap.

20 years from now, everyone working at Turfway and KEE might develop respiratory problems from being around that crap.

well said.

well,
back to Lava Man.
run him on the turf as much as possible and by all means,
please dont leave the state of CA again.
nothing good is going to come of it and there is plenty of money in CA to be won.
make him the next Native Diver.
I just want to see him run The Slow Man into the ground next year on the turf.
that is one overrated horse.
