birdstone was head and shoulders, or thought to be so, above that field...he looked horrible that day. sealed track...as good an excuse as any i guess. not as bad as when mike smith tried to say he thought giacomo entrapped in the preakness....not so mr. smith!

Did you see something today that would make you think he'll turn the tables next time? Librettist had everything he would need to win today, the right distance and postional advantage. when the real running started he was going the wrong way.

it was not an impressive run.

I liked everything I saw up until today.

I will back him for the same reason I would back Oognagh Maccool in the Distaff.
I think he is the best miler in the world and one race will not change that opinion, and plus, now I might get somewhat of a price.

with GW's connections, name, and everything else, he will be overbet on Nov 4.
