I dont hate Manning and I don't love Favre. Manning is a great QB.

I said if Capers could improve the Packers from 22nd in defense to 14th they'll win 10 games. If he could improve them more than that they can be an 11 or 12 win team.

They are currently 8th in the NFL in total defense.

Was this what you call "gameplanning" again Sniper? LOL

Yeah, the gameplan i guess is to let favre throw 4 td passes.

Minnesota just went into Green Bay and put up 38 points against that weak defense. That mediocre #4 only threw 4 td passes.

Is there anything else you want to wager on Sniper?

Favre elevated his game against Green Bay this year, there is no doubt about that. I noticed this thread was awfully quiet last week after the 51 attempts leading to a loss in Pittsburgh. Green Bay's O-Line is not getting it done and Rodgers needs to realize that and get rid of the ball quicker. When I made the bet I didn't know Chad Clifton would be injured and how much that would impact their line. It's a shame cause Green Bay would be a heck of a team this year if they could just protect the QB.

Now Tampa Bay hangs 38 on them. Green Bay is a .500 team.

How did the D look to you this weekend basically shutting out the NFC east leading cowboys?

Better. Much better. Dallas's game plan was strange at best. They ran the ball a total of 14 times which includes 3 Romo scrambles. They averaged 4.4 per carry. Why do only line up for 11 runs while averaging 4.4 yards?

GB forced 3 turnovers and they were legitimately forced. Great plays on each and they stopped potential scores. Most importantly they sacked Romo 5 times.

Bottom line? The cowboys really arent that good, at least not in my opinion and they played especially bad and they gameplanned especially poorly. Green Bay played their best defense all year. That effort wins last week against TB.

Favre would be back in MS in the hospital if he played behind the packers o-line. He is doing well so far, but if you go by numbers he is still not in the top 5 this year. Brady, Brees, Petyon Manning, Matt Schaub, and even Rodgers have better stats. Don't get me wrong he is playing outstanding for an old man, but he is not a top 5 QB in today's NFL.
Is he top 5 now? 21 tds 3 picks and his team is 9-1. Is he a top 5 QB?

Are you kidding? Favre is making Sidney Rice into a star. Schaub has Andre Johnson and Warner has the best receiver combo in the game. Regardless of this, Favre still has better numbers.

hou - has to use 3 backs

ari - hightower/wells

if AP goes down and Favre puts up the #'s then he becomes a top 5 , until then he is a good qb with one of the 2 best rb's in football

LOL. Okay. This thread is hilarious. The guy has thrown 21 tds with 3 picks. His best receiver is Sidney Rice. Sidney ****ing Rice.

I dont care if they brought a walter payton in his prime clone on to the field as his tb. He is playing GREAT football.

At this point, he is having arguably one of the top five seasons of any qb around. He is number one in td/int ratio and number one in qb rating. He is top 10 in almost every other meaningful stat and his team is 9-1.

When has Schaub ever been 9-1 with ANY team? LOL

The question should be, what would zona and Houston be with Favre at the helm.

Schaub would have a hard time being 9-1 with the 2007 Patriots because the guy has no b.alls in the clutch. He completely botched two throws in the final 4 offensive plays of their loss at Arizona earlier this year. He threw a crucial interception at Indy in a game that the Texans were largely in control of during the 2nd half. He was a no show in the season opener when his #1 target was shut down.

The idea that anyone would take Schaub over Favre right now, or ever, is crazy and I have never been a Favre fan.
