Oh my God, Floral Peg was just retired.
No idea why, what happened. Will try to find something. * * * Feel better, Brom Brom. Horsies of note... poor Puerto Rico is a standby starter for R2. Another Class 5... shame. One of only 2 girls in HK (I think so anyway)... Kimberely in R3. The diva, Ms. Lady First is entered in R4. Don't be last (again)! My lock of the day (and i know I do this everytime but he's gonna actually win this one)... THREE CLUBS (R6)!!! Interesting first time runner in R8... Great Heart. He's got the Cruz / Chadwick thing going on. His record from back when he was Heart of Fire... http://www.hkjc.com/english/pp_formsheet/fse_K219.pdf (Good luck to Deferential in that one too). Head is spinning with all the good boys in R9... I like Finn MacCool in R10 UNLESS Bullish Cash draws in. Barrier trials... well they were 2nd and 3rd anyway... http://www.hkjc.com/english/press/btrs.asp Godspeed, Lucky Quality. Go, Hong Kong Raider! |

For some distance after the 1000 Metres, ARMADA, which was proving difficult to settle and racing with its head on the side, was steadied away from the heels of EXPRESS WIN. At the 500 Metres, MORE BOUNTIFUL was carried wider by VIVA PATACA which was shifting towards the outside of SUNNY KING. Shortly after this, VIVA PATACA got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of SUNNY KING which drifted out. Prior to straightening, MORE BOUNTIFUL was steadied when awkwardly placed between VIVA PATACA and FELLOWSHIP. At the 200 Metres, SIGHT WINNER, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running, was shifted to the inside of VIVA PATACA, then after the 50 Metres was momentarily steadied away from the heels of VIVA PATACA. PACKING WINNER and SUNNY KING were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of PACKING WINNER after the race did not show any significant findings. After the race, SUNNY KING was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. As this was the second occasion on which has been reported to have suffered an episode of an irregular heart rhythm, the horse will now be barred from racing for six months. Prior to racing again, SUNNY KING will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. VIVA PATACA, MORE BOUNTIFUL and FELLOWSHIP were sent for sampling. |

I'm still pretty pissed we can't wager on HK racing anymore. If we could, I wouldn't make a bet on American races.

There is no incentive for TVG to show them. If the customers can't wager, why show the races.
When the LVDC got the rights to HK racing, it essentially ended any participation by North American bettors. No clue why this decision was made. |
