I was at the Gold Coast yesterday. You could hear a pin drop when Phelan Ready was announced as the winner, I don't think a soul on track backed him.

I, too was on Paprika and the worry was her being put under pressure, the General Nediyms' don't always see out a strongly run 1200m. She ran a cracking race, though.

That Shadow Assassin must have flown home, he was just about last turning for home I thought. He's a very small horse and very narrow. He's bound to improve for a bit of time (if he's allowed any time!).
